What We Are About
Psalm 2:11… “Serve the lord with reverent fear and rejoice with trembling.”
None of us give this kind of honor to God. I don’t mean like dressing up for God at church or calling him father all the time. He could care less about those things. Giving honor to God is all about loving him and listening to his will. Talking to him as a friend and not a far-off being. This only happened because Jesus died and rose again. Otherwise we would be talking to God as a far-off being. Honoring God is the key to loving God. Knowing that you are so small in the whole world and are worthless to God… But he wants to include you in his plans because he loves you. We have to serve him, because if we don’t, we are not really living. We fear God, knowing that if we don’t depend on him and let him lead us, we live our lives as a phantom of what they could be. We rejoice because God is good and makes life worth living… an adventure in itself.
I’m not perfect, but if what I wrote helps even one person I’ll be overwhelmed with joy from God. God will provide whatever he knows we need whether or not we want it.
